Justin

I’ve always been fascinated by solitude, sentiment and the peculiar beauty to be found in unexpected and overlooked places, and my work is generally concerned with these themes in some way, as well as exploring the idea that we're surrounded by beauty in the urban environment every day. I shoot people too, often aiming to understand the role that these surroundings play in the story of our lives.

The night is when I find it easiest to paint the pictures that I see in my mind and connect with the emotional and visual memories that feed into my work.

Currently based in the Midlands, I combine my photographic practice with a career as a physician.
